Contest Rules: Your pokemon can only use 2 attacks at a time.
Your pokemon must be experienced enough to pull of combination moves using 3 or 4 moves. If you simply attempt it during a contest your pokemon will fail and it will back fire.
Practicing combination moves makes them more effective during the contest.
A contest has 20-30 post: each turn (two trainer post) is 30 seconds and the contest last 5 minutes. that means each trainer will post at most 10 times during a contest.
During a contest Battle Both Pokemon will have double the HP and their attack power will also be cut in half. this is so the 5 minutes time limit may be allowed to run out during some contest and it isn't about the stronger pokemon winning the battle but the most artistic.
Points system:
Attacking:
Ineffective attack: (such as poison against steel and ground against flying) will result in a loss of 5 points.
Attack with little effect: Will take between 1-2 points from the opponent
Attack which does normal damage: Will do between 3-4 damage.
Effective attack: 5-6 damage
Dodging:
Barely dodging: -1 point for opponent
Well timed dodge: -2-4 points for opponent
Excellent dodge (effortless dodge): -5-6 points for opponent
Combination moves: These moved are judge on the beauty/coolness/toughness(extra effects) of the move combination a long with the damage done
Little to no extra effects: 0-2 points loss of opponent
Good amount of extra effects: 3-4 points loss of opponent
Excellent Execution(extra effects): -5-8 points loss of opponent
nb: This is only half of the combination these points are calculated on the start of the move. The damage is as stated under the attacking table.
